Random Sunday Thoughts

Fiona WAS so EXCITED to see all the comments so far! Thank you ALL that have been so kind and taken the time to show your support. She was too tired to write after writing over 120 words for her homework. But she wanted to write in her blog tonight so we agreed I would write the following for her after she went to bed.

But first, this one liner she wrote herself...
I can do math 8+9=17 and 5+5=10 I’m smart. I love toys they are great.

* * *

We were driving by a cemetery and talking about God and the things we heard in Special Meeting today and Fiona pipes up from the back: “Speaking of spiritual things, I see spirits over there.” Over where? “Over there where they are planting people in the ground.”

* * *

At bedtime tonight, we are cuddling in bed and there is a serious thunderstorm outside, so I am singing to her nice and loud some of our favorites like “How Great Thou Art”. After I finish one song Fiona pipes up with... “Mommy, you should be on American Idol. You have a good voice.” Oh, stop kidding me. “No, I love your voice!” Dude, she was serious!

* * *

A few minutes later while discussing how we have to be thankful for what we have, since there are people that are homeless, she says…“If I was homeless I’d eat my own boogers, you kidding me?, better than starving!” Ewww…I told her I am putting this in her blog and she was laughing hysterically and agreed.

The Tales of Fairyland

There is a collection of rainbow magic fairies. The book that I am starting to read is called Abigail the Breeze Fairy. She makes breeze and she makes Fall. She makes the leaves fall down and she is a weather fairy. She has lots of types of powers to make weather. One is called cake crisis. Wait I looked at the book it’s cake chaos. She has to help the girls grandmother because the green goblin is making wind and makes the cake fall down with the grandmother. Abigail was on the cake making believe she is a cake decoration. This book is fun.

My Mom's Job Exit Realty

My mom works in real estate. She has business cards. Go to Stop and Shop and get one free. Me and Analisa went to my mom’s job while she was showing a house. When she was done with the people she said we could go in and see the houses. There is an upstairs and downstairs. The closets were big and the bathroom shower in one room was so small that I could not fit my behind in there. All the people that see the house say the same thing to my mom. I was tired and I couldn’t breathe after running up and down the stairs. I hope my mom sells a lot of houses fast so we have money and I can go to Disney World like I always wanted all my life.

(Mom’s Note: This is Fiona’s first time typing on the computer. She has adapted fairly nicely thus far. I am teaching her how to manage Word and spell check so that she can figure out what words she is spelling incorrectly. She typed up most of the blog thus far and at whatever point she got tired of typing I took over, and typed her dictated narration word for word.

Yes, she wanted me to type that Stop and Shop thing and came up with the title and insisted I had to include Exit Realty in the title! This little girl is going to be more of a salesperson that her mother! She gives out all my business cards to her peers and teachers in school and/or tells everyone to go to Stop and Shop and get a card if she does not have one to give out. She also has a knack for coming up with some pearl of wisdom or words that can really stop you in your tracks. My little “adult” sometimes, and other times such a totally textbook child, I am truly blessed to have this beautiful, intelligent little girl for a daughter!)

My First Blog

My school is nice. My friend’s name is Analisa. She lives a cross the street from my building. I’m 7 and I’m going to tell you a story. A girl loved cake, she was a cake and her mom and dad were toys. The end.
